Prenatal Vitamins

Hi. Can I take a prenatal over the counter vitamin while I'm on Synthroid? I'm already taking 200 mcg. Synthroid. I take the Synthroid at 4:30-5:30am & the vitamin of any kind at 1-2pm with lunch. I'm still so confused about any absorption issues.....

P.S. Prenatal Vitamins with the extra iron & calcium

As far as I know you can take any vitamins you want while on synthroid.

I have another 2 weeks that I can start taking my multivitamins/mineral (lifepak from Pharmanex) since my RAI. I was told I have to wait 1 month after the RAI then I can start taking them again.

Your good. Just keep them spaced a couple of hours apart. I take my Synthroid in the morning as soon as I get up and all my other pills and vitamins before bed. As long as you give it a couple of hours (especially with calcium or iron) you are good to go.

i eat breakfast,take vitamins and drink coffee at the same time i take my thyroid pill and it doesn't seem to effect me. been doing that for years.

I take Miralax laxative and they ask I space out by 2hrs. Having fun doing that now along with Acidophollus (prevent yeast infection while on Levaquin antibiotic).

I am afraid of missing something somewhere along the day LOL!

I take my Synthroid @ 6:00 AM

I have been on synthriod for almost 4 months, but just took Prenatals for the first time this week. Even though I take synthroid at 6am, and the prenatals at 6pm, I got extremelty nauseated and felt terrible for the entire day. Is this related or does my body need to adjust?
