VASOTEC AND CRESTOR WHILE PREGNANT

I have been taking vasotec and crestor since march 2006, I just discovered I am pregnant sept 2006. I immediately stopped taking the medications, however I am concerned with the time I took them until now, the complications or damage they could have caused until today.

please advise.

Just remember a lot of women do take many medicines and do many other bad things in early pregnancy b/c they do not realize they are pregnant.  It happens to the best of us.  Please, do not freak out and cause yourself un-needed stress.  If the doctor feels that these medicines are of any concern and were consumed to very long then he will do many ultrasounds to determine any harm to the child.  As long as you stopped immediately after finding out you were pregnant, the chances should be very low for any harm to have been done.

I like safefetus.com although it seems to be more aggressive (scary) about warnings than the dr. For instance for asthma medications.  "C" category, while not ideal, are prescribed frequently (don't know about your meds).  I am on Advair, Albuterol and have had some serious dipping into Benadryl (cat/mold/pollen horrible allergies/asthma).
