Hello Ladies I am around 5 weeks pregnant. I am experiencing sneezing, scratchy throat and watery itchy eyes. I am just wondering if any one else is experiencing this.  I do wear contacts so I dont know if this has anything to do with it or not. Any advice would help, on how to make me feel better Thanks

I don't think those are pregnancy symptoms.  Do you suffer from allergies?  It sounds like allergies or a cold.

I have never had a problem with allergies before.  My eyes are bothering me the most, so watery and itchy Do you know what can be given for these symtoms?

Pregnancy has aggravated my allergies, and my RE told me I could take Benadryl.

Thanks for letting me know! I just took a benadryl cause I called my ob doctor they informed me it was okay for a short time only. Thanks

I was sick with a "head cold" around that time. Something about the swelling of your mucus somethings...LOL! I had sneezing, watery eyes, the works. My whole head was miserable.

Thanks for all your comments.  I spoke to my ob doctor he said if it got real bad to take a benadryl so I did. Yesturday was the first relief I have had in 4 days.  I am starting to feel it again today but I am going to try to not take anything.  Any suggestions on what I can take instead of the benadryl?
