Stomach virus..what can I take

by Jenny33, Jun 07, 2007 12:00AM
I have been suffering froma stomach virus for a few days now and it has worked its way to my intestines and is giving me potty problems.  Can I take pepto? I don't want to bug my dr. over this.  I am a teacher and it is hard to just run to the bathroom whenever I need. Should I just suffer through it?

I think pepto is a no-no because it contains aspirin.  The book Your Pregnancy Week by Week says Maalox and milk of magnesia are okay.  Hope you feel better soon.

don't ever think of it as bothering your dr.  you should call and see what they say.
