WHAT DOES V22 .1H SUPERVISION OF NORMAL SUBSEQUENT PREGNANCY MEAN

supervision= monitor

normal= opposite of abnormal (this is good)

subsequent= generally means this is not the first

pregnancy= knocked up, bun in the oven, etc.

that is an ICD9 code used for billing. it just means that they are watching/monitoring a normal pregnancy that is not your first pregnancy.

probably cause he thinks your pregnancy is normal and they are just monitoring it like they would any other pregnancy. If you are so worried call the doctor about the spotting. Spotting is rather common in early pregnancy.

Yep, chellybeans is right. V22 is part of an ICD9 code and I think the V stands for visit. This is the "real" meaning for billing purposes:

Persons encountering health services in circumstances related to reproduction and development (v20-v29)

that is the code that is on all of my stuff.  it means you are pregnant.  i am 30 weeks and all of my paperwork has had the same code on it.
