Carcinoid tumor found in best friend

They found a carcinoid tumor in the intestine of my best friend during a lower GI.  Now,following an abdominal CT,they have found lesions on her liver and growths on her ovaries.  She is scheduled for an Anal CT late in April and no one is telling her anything.  What does all this mean and how worried do we have to be?

hi im a 16 teen years old an i just recieved information that i have a tumor. at first i was told it was just a cyst an everything will be ok now they say i have tumor markers an its not a cyst its a tumor on my left ovarie. does this mean i have cancer? im scared all i want to do is find out more information im very concerned with my health.
