LARGE Lump on left testicle

Hi, For about 3-5 years now I have had a very large lump on my Left testicle. It is above the testicle and like the vas deferens has swollen to about 1/4 centimeter thick. it can vary sometimes and sometimes it might be like stringy. When it is thick, measuring from the top of the testicle to the top of the mass is about 1 inch or so. It has always been painless every since i got it and i dont know what to do...I havent got up the courage to ask or show parents anything yet
