Sliver like things on penis shaft

by Roy32, Apr 14, 2007 12:00AM
In the past 6-7 months I've noticed off and on an occasional one or two tiny little sliver like things on the skin of the penis shaft.  They're quite thin, like a sliver, and only about 2-3 mm in length.  They tend to be bluish black or bluish purple in color, sometimes a lighter bluish green.  They appear thinly under the skin and seem to make their way out like a sliver would.  I've tried to find something like this on the internet with no success.  If you could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.  I have no idea what's going on.  They are completely painless, but I would still like to know what they are and how I am getting them.

they sound like blackheads to me and are colored by your pants or underwear.

Hi!  Oddly enough, my son who is 8 has this exact same thing. The doctor couldnt tell me what it was and just told me to keep pulling them out as they came.  He was diagnosed with Hypospadias when he was born and had reconstructive surgry at the age of one.  Have you by chance had this as well?

The doctor is baffled and I dont know where to go from here. I want this taken care of before he is in middle and it becomes a problem for him with his peers. Please let me know!

Thanks.
