I dont think it really matters when the disease is detected. It depends on the type of pancreatic cell it is. Early detection is almost impossible unless you are scanning your body every 12 months. I know cases where early detection still lead to death within 1 year. The stats for pancreatic cancer are grim. less than 1 percent of people diagnosed with PC are alive one year later. These people are the ones who had a different cell such a lymphoma. If its a Angeocarcinoma there is no hope.
