Call the doctor who ordered the films and ask him/her for a complete explanation - in lay terminology. He or she should be willing to explain the findings to you until you have a complete understanding. I suggest you call and schedule an appointment for a telephone call to discuss the X-ray report/results. This way the doctor will have time to review all the necessary information and should be able to answer your questions. Make a list of all your questions ahead of time and go through them with your daughter's doctor.
You might also try faxing your questions ahead of time - which will give the doctor time to formulate complete answers to each of your questions.
