Problems after tubal ligation

I had a tubal liation via clamps in Spetember of 2005. I started having heavy menstral cycles, and severe cramping which I was told could last a long time after having the procedure. I changed doctors after being tired of no results. My new doctor thought that I may have endometriosis so he did an exploritory surgery to get rid of any endometriosis and see what was going on. It turned out that my clamps were swollen and growing veins around them,. They almost looked infected so he removed them. I have no idea if this happens often. I am told that I need to be very careful because I am going to be high risk for tubal pregnancies. If I want to have the tubes repaired then I would have to pay the $7,000 out of pocket, but that is besides the point. I am really wondering how many people have had probelms with their tubals ligation clamps and if anyone know what would cause something like that to happen.
