Freaking Out

Can someone help me! I had my blood drawn last monday at 4 weeks and my hcg was 386 and progesterone 40. I just got my blood results from today which I am 5 weeks, my hcg is 8,160 and progesterone >40. My hcg level didn't just double it quadrupled. What does this mean?

Could mean twins?!?!?  Or just that it is rising fast which I would think would be a good thing!

What did your doctor say?  That should give you some indication. Sounds great to me.  You said that last Monday you were 4 weeks.  So was I!!!  My hcg was 105 and it was 274 on Wednesday.  My RE hasn't had me recheck since it more than doubled.  I go for u/s on May 11th.  I am so nervous and can't wait to see a heartbeat.

Has your doctor given you a due date yet?  I suspect mine will be December 31st or January 1st.

I also just found out I am pregnant,I had a BFP on the 26th and my due date is 12/30/07 which means I will go for c-section aroud 12/19/07.Anyway this is about you not me,I think that everything is fine and I agree you could be having twins!Congratulations to all the ladys with BFP this month!!
