4.2cm mass on my left ovary

I went to the urgent care monday because i had really bad pain on my left side. Come to find out that i have a solid mass 4.2cm. So on Tuesday i went to my obgyn and he said he want me to come back in two months to see if it gone away. none of my question were answered. I am in alot of pain it even hurt to got to the bathroom. They just want me to set at home and take really strong pain killer. i can't i have two small kids I am very scared because ovary cancer run in my family.

I just found out almost the exact same thing, however, my OBGYN is not taking it lightly.  She has sent me for 2 ultrasounds so far, I get the second set of results tomorrow.  I believe that with the symptoms that you are experiencing, you should at least be seen for an ultrasound.  I would take it upon myself to get a second opinion or even a new obgyn.  The pain that you are experiencing when going to the bathroom is a early warning sign of ovarian cancer.  Don't sit home for  2 months, go and see another Dr. for a second opinion.  It's your body and your health and if you are even uncomfortable with a diagnosis or the way a Dr. treats you, you should do something about it.  I hope that everything goes well, God Bless.
