Again I don't want to send out an alarm because there could be so many different things causing your problem, but it might be worth discussingDiscussing death with children with your gyn... good luck!
Thanks again for your speedy reply,
lizzy-lee :-)
When was your last pap test, and were there any abnormalities?
I certainly don't want to send out an alarm, but I had similar symptoms earlier this year (abdominal/cramping pain, lower back pain, however I also had abnormal bleeding between periods). Luckily the gyn did an endometrial biopsy, turned out they snagged some cells from the cervical canal which turned out to be cancerous. From what I understand the tumor wasn't visible on the surface of the cervix, thus the last pap test only showed pre-cancerous cells. Turned out to be stage IIB, currently in my third week of chemo and radiation treatments.
Again I don't want to send out an alarm because there could be so many different things causing your problem, but it might be worth discussing with your gyn... good luck!

I am very sorry I took so long to get back with you on my results. Regretably I have been through antibiotic Hell! It turns out that I did not have a UTI; I did not have a bladder infection; did not have PID or even a NEED to take antibiotics in the first place! All my tests including my pap smear came back negative. The ultrasound revealed that I had a ruptured cyst on my left side and no further comments was made to me about anything else. Not even an apology for the misuse of all the antibiotics. I did however end up in the ER AGAIN. This time I was carried by the ambulance because I suddenly became paralysed mostly on my right side and could not move. I was told it seemed to be a negative reaction to all the antibiotics I was taking(This came as no suprize to me!). Needless to say I stopped taking all meds prescribed to me and will never again take anything else prescribed without physical and documented proof that I do infact have the illness assumed. I have been sick for a whole month for what appears to be a cyst. If my Dr. ordered an ultrasound at the first office visit that I went in to complain, I could have been spared my antibotic horror! Thank you for giving me helpful suggestions and alternatives. I am truly grateful. Lizzy-Lee :0)
I have been having gynological issues as well. To make the long story short, in the past, I have been prescribed so many antibiotics for different reasons and I have been tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea a dozen times (always negative). I always tell the gynocologists to test me for different stuff and they will not do it. I have been to the ER before in regards to the same problems, I have been diagnosed with interstial cystitis, but in doesn't explain the vaginal symptoms. I eat super healthy, take vitamins, and I have even taken probiotics. I have also been diagnosed with PID, atrophic (something), early menopause, and IBS. I think the doctors have no clue what I have (I am confused myself), and I know that I am being misdiagnosed...so I am going to pay out of my pocket to get a second opinion (already have appointment). I do not know you Lizzy-Lee and yet I feel what you are going through, get a second opinion now. If your doctor was right the whole time, it will confirm your doctor's diagnosis; if not, it will be a relief to get the proper treatment for the right diagnosis.
Although pelvic congestion syndrome was first discovered by Richet M.A. back in 1857, it has been shockingly overlooked in women experiencing chronic pelvic and lower back pain. Once considered psychosomatic, doctors have developed better means of explaining and diagnosing this painful and very real condition to the point where its treatment has a high success rate.
Pelvic congestion is caused by varicose veins deep within the
