Thank you for the replies! I think I overdid it, going shopping on Friday and planting some things in the garden on Saturday. Even though I didn't do any real digging, that was probably too soon.
My friend had her Lap last Friday and was backBack pain - low Back strain treatment in the hospital yesterday because she could not urinate and it all backed up and made her swell.
Hi there --
I'm four weeks post-laparotomy, and just beginning to feel normal. My stomach is still tender and swollen; the incision is still pretty hard to the touch. I still have moderate bladder problems, and what I believe is ovarian phantom pain. I never had vaginal bleeding. I've been told by my surgeon and his staff that full, complete recovery can take up to a year.
