amount of follicles

On sat morn i went for ultrasound and bloodwork..i was told i had 9 follicles.(got AF on fri afternoon).They left a message sat night and said blood work was excellen and start 150 of follistim sun night.  I read that 9 follicles were not so good ..will more grow?how many should i have had? Wdeare 33 @ 37 with unexplained infertility.

Are you doing IVF??? 9 is pretty much the norm.  I had 8 antral follicles and ended up with 6 mature follicles for IUI...it worked too!  Good luck.

I am doing injectables with timed intercourse! Hope you are right! I am going back wednesday am! First night with injectables..kind of nervous! thanks for the info!
