pain in hand and foot

A couple of weeks ago I noticed an aching sort of pain in my foot, along the top of it. It feels like a bone pain. It was only in my right foot. Now that's stopped or lessened and I'm having the same sort of pain in my right hand, around the fingers. What could this be? My mom has rheumatoid arthritis but I'm only 22. Please help!

I have had RA for 5 yrs. About a year ago the tops of my feet hurt so much that I wanted to scream. The pain can last for a few minutes to an hour. It does feel like bone pain. Is there swelling as well as the pain? You mentioned that your Mother has RA, has she experienced this pain? Have you gone to a Rheumatologist? Can you walk without pain?
