I had Hernia surgery on the 18th of May this year on the left side of my groin.  I still cannot feel anything on below the scar in my groin on the left side and my outer theigh.  Should I be worried, is this a problem that will go away?

I had hernia surgery 3 years ago and have nerve damage. Permanent? It's all according to who you ask. I was told by the surgeon "the symptoms will go away". They didn't. The first year was a nightmare. I have tried several different medications to alleviate the pain and discomfort. Lyrica seemed to help the most. This has only been available for the last year or so. I didn't want to go through another surgery since the first one didn't go so well.
