Trying to get pregnant.

by Hazel30, Feb 26, 2007 12:00AM
Im 25 and my husband and I are trying to get pregnant with our number 2.  I have a 2 year old son and it took us 8 months to get pregnant without any medical help.
Since I began menstruating I never had regualr cycles.  Sometimes I even skip months and my normal cycles go anywhere from 30 - 40 days.  I think with my first child we just go lucky although I already had a prescription from my obgyn for clomid that month.  This month I began using ovulation kits, the cheap ones, and never actualy got a solid line but we still tried.  Although now I am 2 days past my due date of my period (33 days from last month) it still very noraml for me.
Please advise me on what I can do.  We want a second child badly.

I had trouble getting pregnant & then miscarried again & again. I started taking my temp each morning before getting up & charting it. on the day I ovulated my temp went up so we knew that was the time to try. when my temp went up & STAYed up I was pregnant & able to take precautions to prevemt moscarriage. Had some trouble but ended up with 2 of the most extrordinary children on earth I must say! Best Wishes
