Implantation Bleeding

I recently got what I thought was my period about 10 days early. I thought it was a normal period but it never got very heavy and was mostly on and off, sometimes stopping all together. The last time I had sex was about a little under two weeks from when I started bleeding. Could this be implantation bleeding?

hi, I have a similar situation, except I had unprotected sex right after my period for two days and then I took plan b. after taking plan b, exactly a week later, I noticed a brown discharge, I don't know if it is an implantation bleeding or not, but the discharge came the first two days and then disappeared for another two days and now its back. is this an implantation bleeding or a regular plan b thing? I've taken plan b many times before, this never happened, I always had the full heavy period. its scarying me. help!

It could just be a reaction to the pill...but in a few weeks I would suggest taking a test.

One of the first symptoms I had was actually implantation bleeding, it was a very light, brown discharge that only lasted three days. Actually it was only visible Monday, Tuesday, and Friday morning-never throughout the rest of the day. If the bleeding is accompanied by any serious cramping or if it persists, I would suggest visiting your Dr as this could also indicate a possible miscarriage. Otherwise, wait it out and take a pregnancy test as soon as you can (missed period). Good luck.

my last real period was may 14th 2007 and on fathers day june 17th i thought i was starting my period it was so light that i just used a panty liner. this was not normal usually it starts out alittle heavier. well by the end of that night it was completely gone. this had never happened before. well i waited a few days and i bought a 2 pack of hpt's and i took the first one on june 23rd it was at night though and it came up faint so i waited until june 25th and i took the test with my morning urine and it came up faint again so i called the doctors and i went for an appointment on the 26th that one came up negative. well still no period and ive had cravings, some sickness not to make me throw up though, im smelling things alot better and i dont feel like my periods gonna come so if you know what could be happening please let me know. am i pregnant or not??? thanx

Heres the story,

my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex around the week of May 14 (He pulled out). then around the week of May 21st I got my period. a light brown for a day or so then heavy red by the next day and lasted about 6 days ( The Norm For Me). Now I have irregular cycles and sometimes go a whole month w/o getting my period. Anyway, on around the first week of JUN I did a lot of lifting, like lifting heavy object and things like that. during the week of Jun 11th I started gettin BAD cramps to the point where I felt i needed to take a pain killer. So i went to the bathroom and noticed that my blood was brown, so i just thought it was my cycle starting. I grabbed a pad and kept it moving. that night I noticed that I was still bleedind brown and it was enogh to stain my pad and that continued for 2 and a half days then it stopped.  I thought I could be pregnant but i decided to wait until the 21st to get a test. when I took the test it was Negative but i took it in the afternoon. so I waited 2 days later and took another test at 7:00am and that test also was negative.  I am not experiencing symptoms of pregnancy at all. However I have had a few SHArP pains to my side which usually occurs right before iget my period. But i did miss the whole month of Jun (besides the spotting) and its now July and I still dont have my period. Please tell me what the issue could be.

i dont know what the official term is, but i dont ovulate regularly... sometimes every month, others every two or three...
well, the last time i had a period was in april... then last week (july 5th) i noticed  light pink spotting, almost nothing... then by the afternoon it stopped... i noticed it again on july 7th m morning only, then stopped.  now since july 9th i have been spotting (same light pink) but only once a day and very little...
i took a pregnancy test around july 5th, but it was negative...
i am embarrased to go to the dr. because i have gone so many times i am never preganant and they always tell me the same thing.. dont worry you are ok... so am i finally preganant?

I am going crazy. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for the past four months, but today I am having very light bleeding on the day I was scheduled to start. I have not had anything on a pad the entire day and what is there is light pink and a little bit of brown. I usually have heavy periods from day one with severe cramping. Is this implantation bleeding or just a weird period?! I have also tested negative on a hmp. I am very confused. My bbs have also been sore for the past two weeks (and they never get sore), I've had some cramping, I can smell everything, headaches, and nausea.
   I am so confused....

may be you are pregnant... go to your dr. and have them do a blood test to check for pregnancy... its the most accurate way to find out...

Same thing happened to me.  You're probably just testing too early and the hormone is not showing up on the urine test yet.  Try retesting in a week or two.

I read your post from July fifth.  I have had exactly the same symptoms and I was wondering if you ever found out what was going on.

I am looking for a good place to askthis question....looks like it kinda fits here. If anyone knows anything about this PLEASE answer! Okay...my period ended 7/13/07. My hubby and I had intercourse on the 20th. I had all the signs (cramping and all) of ovulation the night before. Contintued to use my LH test strips and got a bit of an LH surge again a week later. This would have been two weeks after my period and ovulation usually occurs around 7 days past period, not 14. I have some strange symptoms including very light bleeding right now. Not enough to show up on a pad, but when I urinate a bright pink stains the paper. It is not old....it's fresh blood. Breasts are tender and I just feel.....sluggish. not nausea...but feel like I have a rock in my stomach.....VERY VERY tired and a little light-headed. My period is not due until 8/3, but I have this bleeding. If the last LH surge (4 days ago)was ovulation...this bleeding can't be implantation bleeding.....but I feel like I ovulated 7 days before the last LH surge. Is there another boost in LH if pregnancy has occured???? Why would I have had another LH surge?

My last period was on 07/13/07 and for the past two weeks i have been cramping and very tired . My boobs don't hurt though. I really would like to know if I am pregnant or not.
