Dark circles

by wonderme, Jul 18, 2007 02:28PM
Hi.  I have pretty bad allergies and frequent seasonal sinus infections.  When I was a child I had pretty bad hay fever and among other things, my eyes would swell shut.

I am pretty fair skinned, and I have continual dark circles under my eyes.

Now my daughter has the same thing with her allergies and the allergist said it was from blocked sinuses.

Question is -- does anyone else have this side effect?

Is there anything that can be done to open the blocked sinuses?

Also, would they still be blocked even when they don't seem to be (no trouble breathing through nose)?

I've had CT scan of sinuses which came back fine, but since I have pretty dark circles, thought maybe something was impeding the blood from draining and wondering if there was anything that can be done...

Thanks for any advice!
