I've never had PN and I've had this for 23 years. You don't have to have HIV or AIDS to have PN. If you have a concern see your doctor.

it can be brought about by poor circulation ,like in diabetes mellitus

I too was concerned about this at one time.  From what I understand, PN is pretty rough.  What I had was mild tingling in the hands, and warm sensations in the feet.  I still get them from time to time mainly when I am stressing about HIV (imagine that).  Cryin, if you are experiencing these mild sensations in your body and you are stressed about possibly having HIV, it is probably just a result of anxiety.  Check out this link.  Anxiety is a b***h!!!!

I suffer from panic attacks and whenenver I get one my hands and feet tingle so bad its like I was just tazered.

Another time I barely avoided getting into a car accident and I was so scared after it happened that I experienced the same tingling.

And then a few years ago I was stressed about something and I had the tingling sensations.

Its normal.
