Hi: My husband (49 yr. old) had bacterial meningitis with encephalitis and 9 abscesses on his brain last fall. He had 3 months of IV antibiotic treatments and I know we are fortunate that he is still with us...our problem is that is sleeps all the time - he seems to be in his own little world now most of the time - doesn't interact well socially, very withdrawn. Is this from his meningitis, or possibly another problem going on. He says that sometimes his head and neck hurt, and he never seems to feel well. Thanks.
