Numb Chin?

by MrWorried, Jun 10, 2007 12:00AM
I've experienced slight numbness in my chin, but no bumps.  What exactly is "numb chin"?  I have heard this *can* be a symptom of the early stages of HIV.  Is this true?  What does numb chin really mean?

Bells Palsy?  How long have you been stressing out about HIV? I ask because you may have lowered your immune system, thus allowing for viruses to attack at will.

Bells Palsy is a virus, usually treated with valtrex and a steriod. If you have any facial drooping too, that pretty much a positive for Bells Palsy. It is not a permanent condition.

Go see a doc.

Numb Chin Syndrome often means a malignancy. Breast Cancer or Lymphoma. Check Epstein Barr Syndrome if you aches.
