Inverted/Contracted LEFT foot and toes

by Drifty, Jul 08, 2007 12:00AM
I have walked with a slight limp, inverted left foot, for about ten years now. But, recently, the symptoms have worsened, inverted, contracted left foot, contracted mallet toes - much difficulty walking.

Neuro Exam: Deep tendon reflexes brisk from lower extremity more from left. Equivocal plantar from left, minimal increased reflexes from upper more frmo left.

EMG: No denervation.

Brain MRI: Nothing but a small insignificant cyst.

Neck MRI: Nothing.

Spine MRI: Nothing.

No one seems to know what it is, or how to help. I am living in fear of what it could be: MS, ALS, and hoping it is a simple pinched nerve... I want to live again, as this whole "health scare" is taking over my family and I. Any ideas what Ishould do next?
