This is an HIV forum.

I am not sure about hpv.

You will not get HIV from the event you described.

You did not have a risk for HIV infection.

is testing necessary

by OrionQuest, Jul 24, 2007 08:08AM
Teak said you didn't have a risk, ergo testing is not necessary except to calm your fears.

i never was tested. but i continue to have weird symptoms.  for example i ran a marathon this past weekend.  i had a weird breakout of acne on my forehead.  should i still not be worried. i have had no other encounters since the one previous mentioned.

Nothing is going to calm your fear till you test and get your neg. result and you can move forward in your life. Never ever go by symptoms. relax.

do you still feel testing is not necessary ? again i have had no encounters since previously ones mentioned.  just cant figure out why i would have an acne problem at 40.

by mechfab, Jan 18, 2008 06:53PM
I'm 42 and yes I still acne trouble had it all my life and I do not have HIV. I only said testing because you are back here asking about symptoms. Testing is should give the relief of the stress and worry about a no risk situation. Hope this helps.

There are all kinds of reasons to have acne. See a dermatologist if you are concerned about your acne. This is not an HIV concern.
