Neurology Question

by De Villiers, Jul 25, 2007 06:23AM
I have been diagnosed with ADEM, a form of GBS forming permanent scarring of my nervous system.  I would just like to know what is the normal treatment when GBS is diagnosed.  Other doctors told me that plasmaforeces and doses of corti-sterroids must be used in conjuction as early as possible before the GBS effects breathing.  Is this correct?
