Your Thoughts

Hi,

Just wondering if you might be able to give me an idea of the condition I have.

Penis burning at the tip/head, no discharge, no pain urinating, constant feeling like I need to urinate.

I have been tested for STI's & all negative, so its not an infection, appears to be worse after drinking.

Its been fairly constant for 5 weeks.

I would assume that urethral swabs and urine tests have already ruled out infections causes like UTIs or STDs.  The prostate can be examined looking for prostatitis.  This can be accomplished by a prostatic massage or a transrectal ultrasound.

If infection continues to be negative, a cystoscopy can be considered to look for anatomical abnormalities - like a urethral stricture or polyp.

These options can be discussed with your urologist or personal physician.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
