Need a little more info in Hickory!!

by tyterydez, Apr 24, 2006 12:00AM
ok so I am yet another example of the great things hcg and dr. Giraurd have done!! But unfortunately I can't afford to be skinny anymore! lol Dr. G is so expensive. I have heard rumors that there are other dr's in the hickory area offering this program. I have also heard that at least one of them will accept insurance. Does anyone have any clue? After 4 mo. at Dr. G last year I just can't afford to go back there right now! By the way.... several posts have the dr names but I would love to have the phone number and name of the clinic also!! Thanks!!

Hi!

It's great to hear you had great success with Dr. G.  I have my first appt with him next Monday.  How much weight did you lose and how quickly?  Did you stick with his low calorie diet?

I'm not sure if this is closer to you or not, but another poster posted about a NP that was less expensive than Dr. G and that she really liked her.  Her name is Virginia B. "Ginger" Ervin, MSN, APRN, BC, and she is located in Denver, NC (close to lincolnton/gastonia, charlotte area).  407 Hwy 16 North, Suite A Denver, NC  28037  (T) 704-483-7577  Her website is denverfamilyhealth.com

If you decide to go to her, please let me know what you think of her and your results, as I'm sure Dr. G is going to get really expensive for me really fast as well.

Thanks!

I just went to Foothills Internal Medicine in Hickory yesterday to start my HCG shots and Phentermine pills.  They take insurance but the waiting list is long.  The earliest appointments right now are for July.  (I have lost three pounds since yesterday)!!!  Good luck!

My sist-in-law has went to Foothills Internal Medicine in Hickory, NC  and she has lost 35 lbs on the shots then when she stopped the shots and kept up her eating habits of what she at she lost another 25 lbs.  I will be going next week to start my shots and I want to lose 40-45 lbs.  So I hope I have as great a luck as she has had.I'll keep you posted.  It took me 4 months to get in there so I fill they are really good.  I could have gotten into a doctor in Statesville the next week after I decided to do this, but was not sure since they could get me so quickly.  Sometime when you have to wait to see a doctor means they are really good!!!

Does anyone know of a doctor in Concord.  I used to go to Dr. Giraurd years ago in Huntersville, but I no longer live in that area. Thanks!
