Was this acid reflux?

by Hammer196, Jan 27, 2002 12:00AM
I'm a 46 y/o man, and last night had a new and surprising experience: I awakened suddenly choking, coughing, with a burning sensation inside my nasal cavities, and liquid pouring out of my nose.

This was quite surprising as it was a new experience.  What was this, should I expect it again, and what can I do to prevent it or minimize the possibility that it will occur again?

it sounds like maybe you have sinus problems w/a post nasel drip that could cause coughing at night. I have had plenty of sinus surgerys w/chronic sinuses.do you ever have pain in face?
