enough testing for hep c?

Hello, I have a q about hepatitis c testing.

After a sexual incident with a pros, I have the following test results for hepC:

Neg antibody 195 days later.
Neg Riba 248 days later, the screening test s/co was 1.0.
Neg Pcr, qualitative, 129 days later.

Can i stop testing and move on with life?  Is this a neg outcome for hep C?  NEVER any Idu, transfusions or transplants in my past.  Ast and Alt are in the 'normal'range.  28 and 42.  ast range is 0 to 40.  Alt range is 0 to 55.  I take lipitor for cholesterol.

Any advice you can give is much appreciated.

I agree this is comprehensive testing for hepatitis C.  The chances of you having this would be minimal.  If there are symptoms, or elevated liver enzymes, you can continue testing every 6 months with a Hep C antibody test.  An ultrasound can be considered if the liver enzymes are elevated.

However, that being said, I think that with the testing already done, the hepatitis C is minimal in this case.

Wouldn't a hepatitic c antibody test be a definite
after 1 year incubation period??

Just curious, what would testing every 6 months
for hepatitis c antibody be usefull for??

You either have it or you dont, unless its very
early on in the transmission.
