MY HUSBAND HAD BY-PASS SURGERY, AND IS STILL HAVING PROBLEMS.  HE IS SCHEDULED TO HAVE A MRI ON MONDAY.  IS IT SAFE TO DO A MRI ON SOMEONE YOU PREVIOUSLY HAD BY-PASS SURGERY?

Yes, a MRI is safe in someone who has had bypass surgery.  Persons with pacemakers, defibrillators or other implanted devices may not have MRIs.
