Micropigmentation

by Kim Davis, Nov 01, 1999 12:00AM
I am having micropigmentation done (cosmetic tattooing) on my eyes (permanent eyeliner) on Saturday.  Have you ever heard of one's eyes drooping as a result of such a procedure?  I approached the specialist that is performing the procedure and she said that she had not, that drooping was a result of aging and not the pigmentation.  What is your view on this and have you heard of such a thing as a result of micropigmentation?  Or, are there any adverse effects to it?

Kim:

No, I haven't heard of it, and I can't see how it would happen.  Assuming that the procedure is done in a sterile fashion, I think the only complications might be poor technique, leading to smudgy eyelioner, or a change of heart by you later on, leading to lengthy and complicated methods of removal.

If you're sure this is what you want . . .

Best.

I have never heard of this happening, age is normally the factor for drooping of the eyes.
