Mole removal

by John McBain, Mar 20, 2000 12:00AM
I had a mole on my neck removed by a stich biopsy approx 6 weeks ago.  It was cut out, and I received three stitches.  6 weeks later, the redness is still there.  It is small in size, but still noticable.  Should the redness be gone by now?  If not, when?  And is there a cream such as aloe vera that I can apply to help accelerate the process?  Thanks.

John:

Redness can last for weeks after surgery.  Although some people feel that Vitamin E cream helps the redness go away, I don't know if that's true or not.  Basically, the less you do to it, the better.

Best.

Sorry to put this here. I think the limit for the new postings is a little extreem. There is only 1 post for the 20th and I cannot post any new questions. This limit is making me NOT want to participate anymore because it seems I can never post any new questions. I will gladly help contribute monetarily as I am sure a lot of people here would if you would raise the limit to say 5 or 10 new questions. All you have to do is let us know how. Heck, I have a cable modem and a Compaq Proliant 2500 server attatched with 12.5GB of RAID5 drives I would gladely host some of your databases or a mirror or something. Something really needs to be done.

Regards

Eric

I agree with Eric!  I have been trying for DAYS to post a quesion, but have never been successful.  It is very frustrating and I am close to giving up and trying another similar site.  Because this site appears to be popular, it would seem that accommodations could be made to handle a few more questions each day....
