Skin Growth in Groin after split skin

by whatisit, Apr 09, 2003 12:00AM
Hi

I recently noticed a skin growth in my left groin, they are little cluster bumps, they are painless, the skin growth has no feeling..they first started to appear in the left area, now i am starting to feel little pimple like bumps in right groin..

Haven't had any sexual contact for a year and a half, only appeared when the area was itchy and i scratched it, i ended up getting a split skin, after that the skin growth started to appear where the split skin were..

also took some pics of the skin growth, you can look at it at

is this a wart?

Nice pictures.

Those are genital warts.  Moist warts of that kind can be treated with podophyllin resin--your doctor can apply this and have you wash it off in a few hours.  A couple of such tretaments, and then perhaps some liquid nitrogen applications.  Whatever the choice of therapy, your doctor can take care of these.

Hard to say when and where you contracted these, but of course you'll want to get rid of them.

Take care.
