itching eyelids and nostrils

by cindra, Dec 19, 2006 12:00AM
my upper eyelids(exterior lid but the part closest to my tear ducts) and nostril area (and just inside the nose) started to itch about 5 days ago.  it is completely on and off and i barely notice it when i am working.  they mostly itch at night and maybe morning.  my left eye is the worst and that is where it started.  everything looks completely normal except my left eyelid looks slightly puffy and pink on the lid near the tear ducts.

i can't think of anything new that i ate or used on my skin.  can you tell me what it is and what i can use on it to relieve the itching?

thank you.

Sounds like dryness, perhaps aggravated by stress.  I'd use a bland moisture lotion like Lubriderm or Nivea.  Apply these every time you feel itchy, so you won't perpetuate it by rubbing.

Take care.
