Is this fungus or somthing else?

by Gee154, Apr 07, 2007 12:00AM

HI,

I did a stupid thing. My wife was away for a month. , I wore a dirty sock on my penis and masturbated twice... few days after , my penis starts hitching. I noticed white dryness on my penis. I did not pay much attention. My wife came back and I noticed that after having intercourse with her my penis has a little cut before tip, which turned to a little black round shape patch and it was start growing. Now I have three black patch one on my penis tip.

i want to mention one more thing, i did not have sex with any one except my wife.

I am assuming probably my wife has a yeast infection and I got from her or I gave to her. I don’t know.

I went to a doctor. he look at it, and gave anti fungus cream(Exelderm sulconazole nitrate) I used that cream for three weeks, but it did not work.

I went to emergency ward a physician look at it. He said it looks like a viral infection and gave me an anti viral cream Zovirax(ointment), I used that cream for five days as he prescribed, but it did not work.

He said if this cream did not work go to dermatologist. Recently I lost my job and medical insurance I can’t afford to have expansive skin tests.

It is four months now the black patch still there. I don’t know what should I do?

Your rash doesn't sound like either a fungus or a virus, which is why I think that neither cream you were given worked.  You probably just have irritation plus pigment change in the kin that lasts for a whiloe after the irritation goes away.  The sock irritated you--it didn't give you a fungus.  My advice: apply over-the-counter 1% hydrocortisone cream twice a mday for 3 days, use nothinjg else but moisture lotion, and forget about it.  No need to limt any activities, sexual or otherwise.

Take care.
