Tiny pinpoint sized dots on upper lip, concentrated directly below philtrum

by euphony, Apr 29, 2007 12:00AM
Today, my girlfriend noticed a tiny cluster of pinpoint-sized dots on my upper lip, directly below the lower border between of the philtrum.  I was wondering what this possibly could be.  The closest I came via internet search, and searches on this site was Fordyce's condition, however the white dots I see seem much smaller, are not raised above skin level, and don't seem "pop-able".  In some of my searches, I came across similar symptoms indicating something called LGS, or Leaky Gut Syndrome -- was wondering if this is a possiblity, and in any case, wondering what it was, if I should be worrried, and what I should do...

Fordyce' syndrome.  Your gut is no doubt fine.  No worries.   You're not herpetic or contagious.  Show a doctor next time you go.

Best.

Sorry, the first sentence should read:  Today, my girlfriend noticed a tiny cluster of pinpoint-sized dots on my upper lip, directly below the lower border of the philtrum.

You are going to find out that it IS Fordyces Condition, so please relax until the doctor can confirm this and put your worries to rest.
