What could this be? Why does this happens after sexual contact?

Hello, Doc.

Not sure why this is. Wondering if it could be a STD or a health issue. Whenever my bf's penis slides NEAR, NOT IN my rectal/anal area, the next day or two when I'm having a bowel movement my stool hurts and bleeds when it comes out. This will happen for like a couple of days and then go away. My stools would go back to normal. But as soon as I have sexual contact with him it happens again. We've never had anal sex, where he's sticking it in, so why does this happen? When I was pregnant last year, I was tested for EVERYTHING and I found out that I had chlymadia and that's it. Everything else was negative. We were both treated for the chylmadia. So why could this be happening? What could it be?

I can't think of any anorectal problem associated with pain and bleeding that would be triggered by genital apposition without penetration.  Your symptoms sound typical for hemorrhoids.  Despite your conviction of the triggering cause, I am suspicious that the two events--sex and your symptoms--are coincidental.  How often do you have sex and how often to your symptoms occur?  Try avoiding sex for a couple of weeks and see if you don't have symptoms during that period.

That's the best I can do.  Check with your PCP, or consider making an appointment with a proctologist (rectal diseases specialist).

Good luck-- HHH, MD
