NGI?

About 2 months ago I had symptoms: Discharge (somtimes white and somtimes clear) some discomfort in the penus (tingly or sharp)itchy scrotum. I had a STD Test at the health department which indicated a NGU or non specific infection. My only partner (female) was tested also. She was negitive. We were both treated with a white liquid antibotics. The symptoms went away but returned severial weeks later. Once again my symptions retured and we were both tested. She was negitive and my test indicated NGU or non specific infection. I don't know if it is related but I have a itchy anus. The discharge was less this time and has stoped. After ejaculation I have a burning at the tip end of my penus but doesn't last but a few minutes. I still have the tingle or tickle in the shaft mostly near the end. I plan to be tested again but I expect the same test results. Could it be the medication isn't working for me or could it be some other problem. Thanks

Nongonococcal urethritis (NGU) often recurs, especially when not due to chlamydia.  Fortunately, there is no known serious complication or long-term problem.  You may (or may not) benefit from another course of antibiotics.  Further examination of your partner probably won't show anything abnormal, and she probably isn't at risk of any serious outcome.
