Sublingual b12 in Houston

myhealthmatters2me: i bought the sublingual yesterday at walgreens.. it was only about $6... i took it this morning and feel the difference.. ps.. it tastes like **** =-)

Is that the kind that you put under your tongue?  What other B vitamins do you take with it?

well she and i are both doing the weekly b12/hcg shots but our doctor wont give them more than once a week.. they wear off after 72 hours.. so we are supplementing with the sublinguals =-)

what dosage are you taking?  I bought the 100 mcg tabs..

well its not a tablet.. sublinguals are actually a liquid that you put in a dropper and place under the tongue.. they are called sublingual because they are placed on the sublingual palate in the mouth and absorbed that way... (RD in progress.. lol.. ) the tablets arent as effective because they are processed through the GI tract... to be effective they need to get into the blood stream.. thats why people see the results from the shots.. hope this helps.. =-)
