hepatites exposure or not

Hello Doc and every in this forum,

I would love to know if hepatites could be transmitted through mutual masterbation(male and female).Six months ago I was engaged in A masterbation session which lasted for about five minuites.Shortly after the encounter (maybe 3 minuites),I masterbated myself with the same hand that I used to finger her,WHICH MAY HAVE VAGINAL FLUID ON IT.

I WOULD LOVE TO FIND OUT IF I COULD GET HEPATITES FROM THIS ENCOUNTER IF SHE WAS POSITIVE.I DID HEPATITES A,B,ANDC TESTS 8 WEEKS AFTER THE ENCOUNTER WHICH CAME BACK NEGATIVE. DO I NEED TO GET RETESTED?

THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY.

To my knowledge, no STD ever has been transmitted by mutual masturbation, including hepatitis B.  Hepatitis A is transmitted only by oral-fecal exposure and is rarely sexually transmitted in heterosexuals, although it's pretty commonly sexually transmitted between gay men.  Hepatitis C isn't an STD at all.  If there is a risk of hepatitis transmission through mutual masturbation, it is too low to measure or to worry about.  You do not need testing, unless you have other risks (e.g., unprotected sex with multiple partners, etc).  On the other hand, it is increasingly recommended that EVERY person be vaccinated against hepatitis B, and getting immunized against hepatitis A can't hurt.  So if hepatitis is on your mind, you might want to get your shots.  But your actual risk seems to be zilch.
