hpv and herpes

i was with a guy once 2 years ago and then one year ago.  I noticed the second time that he had a bump on his penis.  I have not noticed anything that would look like a wart to me, and I have been to the doctor a million times for every little spot I see.  Everyone says they see nothing but I still worry so much about it.  There has been a couple of little bumps in the back of my mouth that have been there since I started feeling through out my mouth.  They are really small and hard to see.  I went to the ent and he said he didn't really see anything and what he thought I was feeling or seeing was some kind of saliva thing.  Although he told me he saw nothing I still worry.  The only time I even performed oral sex on this guy was the first time, almost 2 years ago.  I always feel little bumps in my mouth, and I know that everyone has bumps in their mouth.  I just worry way to much.  I guess I just want someone to say that I don't have anything.  I have had 2 paps in the past year and everything they were both normal.  I think I was traumatized by this and can't get on with my life.  I have quit socializing just about completely.  All I do is check for symptoms all over my body.  Could this be an std in my mouth.  Has is been long enough where I can say "nothing has shown up by now so I probably am clean"?  I don't know I guess I am just looking for some comforting

Usually genital warts show up within 3 months of catching them.  If you haven't developed visible warts after 2 years, either you were not infected; or you were infected but it was asymptomatic. Either way, it's no problem know; if you were infected, almost certainly the infection has cleared up by now.

Get the HPV vaccine, then you won't have to worry about genital warts in the future; also reduced worries about the possiblity of a high-risk HPV infection of the type that can lead to cancer.

Good luck--  HHH, MD

so when you say cleared up does that mean completely gone from my body.  And asymptomatic, can I still give warts to someone else.  Also, could this be warts in my mouth.

Cure and persistence of HPV have been addressed innumerable times on this forum.  Search for "HPV" and/or "Human papillomavirus".  Start with the thread titled "HPV Information" by username BLABLA% just 4 days ago.

Oral warts are rare.  See a provider if you feel bumps you think are not normal.

You clearly state the main problem here:  "I just worry way to much."  That's not a problem I can help.  If it is interfering with your life, seek professional counseling.

I am infected with both HPV and herpes. I have had herpes for about a year now and had my Coloskopy in October finding out that i had a mild stage.I have had claymida several times in my past but ive been clean with that for about a good solid 6-8 months and I have had gonnorhea once along with trich about 2 times and bacterial infections and yeast infections several times as well. For the past 5 months i have been having a lot of pain during intercourse with my boyfriend. After we have sex, it is a burning feeling followed by the swelling of the vagina(the inside) while the itchiness occurs around the lip area. without fail, this happens every single time my boyfriend and i have sex, no matter how slow or gentle he tries to be. im scared to have sex and its ruining my sex life, can you please help me? Is it another STD or does it have something to do with my past? or is there an over the counter medicine for it?
