Tenormin

by Richard, Dec 10, 1999 12:00AM
Had an MI. in 1991 with two blockages of 100%. Was treated with 25mg. of Tenormin. I just had another cath. and have another 60% blockage. My Tenormin was uped to 75mg. twice a day. I walk about 25 minutes in the mall but seem to run out of energy and short of breath after that. I also take imdur 30mg ,avandia, glucatrol,

glucaphage, lipitor, niacin and zoloft. Has the Tenormin caused this slowing down and is it normal? I also have alot of angina.

Tenormin can cause fatigue as a side effect. However, the fact that you have a lot of angina and a history of blockages is concerning. YOu may benefit from bypass surgery, but would need further testing by a cardiologist to determine that.
