Dear dug,

The procedure you probably heard about is called the Batista operation.  This surgery remodeled the heart by cutting a wedge of muscle out.  It is no longer done for the most part due to complications.  The new procedure that has replaced it is called the Dor procedure and is a modified version of the Batista.  We are doing this procedure here.  If you would like to be seen here to see if you qualify call the number below and make an appointment in the "Heart Failure Clinic".  Best wishes.
