Tsetse Syndrome

My daughter, now 10, was diagnosed with Tsetse Syndrome months ago. The pediatrician said it was related to her chest wall....possibly a result of normal growth. He assured us it was not a pulminary or cardio pblm. My daughter is still having occasional sharp chest pains and there appears to be no pattern. We're getting concerned because this has been going on for some time now.

I can find nothing on Tsetse syndrome other than info about a disease caused by flys.

I'm seriously considering getting her back to the Dr. Any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Dear mdye,
Tsetse flies are an African fly that carry trypanosoma brucei which can cause sleeping sickness.  I know of no association between sleeping sickness and chest pains.
