by erica1414, Jun 01, 2006 12:00AM
i recently started taking "hydroxycut" which requires a low calorie diet.  i began my low calorie diet at 800 calories. 2 days ago i moved my calorie intake to 950. is that a large enough calorie intake for my body?  i weigh 150.

You are not eating enough calories for your body.  150 pounds body weight should be eating (depending on your age and activity) around 2500 calories to maintain weight.  Reducing to 1200-1500 calories should be fine, but going under 1000 calories will not help you lose weight, but tell your body you are starving and you will lose nothing.  Good luck
