I think an endometrialEndometrial biopsy Endometrial cancer stripe of that thickness is pretty much normal premenopausally, but I am not a doctor and certainly don't know the specifics of your situation.

Of course, your doctor should contact you with results and the two of you can plan together what, if anything, should be done about the fibroid and it's possible relationship to your heavy periods.
Thanks for your inputs. I went to my doctor today and showed her my results. She recommended an endometrial biopsy to check what really causes my heavy bleeding during my period. I will have it done this coming weekend. I hope everything will turn out fine.
Thanks again!
overies. I will be scheduled for a D&C and endometrial abalation. Fertility is not a concern for me as I am 43 and have two grown sons (and a tubal). They will do a biopsy at the same time. The reason is heavy bleeding. Has your dr. mentioned a D&C?
