Mammosite Radiation Therapy System

I just had a lumpectomy for a DCIS. Next week the doctor has to gone in a take a little more.  Soon I will start radiation and was wondering about RTS.  Pros and Cons (especially cons) versus a traditional 7 week radiation treatment.  Thank you.

Dear Meowlvr:  Mammosite is a relatively new form of radiating certain breast cancers.  Our radiation oncology staff has chosen not use this system at our hospital so I cannot comment specifically on the pros and cons of this approach.
