Breast CA and Mets to Thyroid

Hello

Just One Question I Know that Breast CA can METS to anyplace in the body, But how common is it to MET to the thyroid glad. HX 40 stage 2A Grade1 er,pr+ hern2 - 5 nodes + No other indications of METS per bone scan CT and X-ray all we know is there are areas on the thyroid that abnormal found on Chest CT.

Dear haring33:  It is possible for breast cancer to metastasize to any location.  However, metastasis to the thyroid is very rare.  If there are nodules on the thyroid, they would almost certainly require biopsy if they appear suspicious.  Your breast cancer doctor may refer you to an otolaryngologist (Ears, Nose, Thoat) specialist to evaluate further.
